For the top of the nail, I used a design of the Konad´s plate m56:

And a thin line with:

The roses are stickers, but I´m afraid I don´t rememeber where I bought them, sorry.

Why to take care of your hands. I love my nails!

There are still a lot of people not releasing that the hands are for the body what a business card to a business person.

Your hands tell a lot about you, they tell which kind of person you are and even what someone could expect or not from you… and this all in a very unconscious way! Hen… and not, I´m not talking you lean your hands on a palm reading session. ;P

Let me share with you what other people say about this point:

From bodycare:

“Taking good care of your hands is just as important as taking care of the rest of your body.
Your hands are always on display since they are almost all the time uncovered and this is why it is necessary to keep them in good condition.

Hands and nails that are not kept in good condition look aged and make you feel uncomfortable as well.

… Remember that your hands are one of your most prized possessions and one of the first things people will notice about you so remember to always keep your hands and nails clean and in good condition. “

From greatestlook.com:

“One area of personal appearance that often goes woefully ignored is the hands (and feet). Yet, our hands are quite often our most visible and active feature when dealing with others. You use your hands to hold a pen for signing credit card slips, or to pass money, etc. And even when the hands are cared for, it is as often as not, improperly. Improper hand and nail care can lead to split cuticles, hangnails and general roughness.

And I'm not just talking about women in this discussion of hand and nail care. Men are just as needful of learning to properly care for their hands. There is no reason for a man not to keep himself properly groomed. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is pointless for a man to try and dress nicely unless he plans to fully care for his appearance. That includes regular manicures and pedicures.

Hands

The hands are our main tools for interfacing with the world around us. They allow us to use the tools we need to perform our jobs, feed ourselves, and communicate with others around us. Women are expected to have smooth skin and clean hands and nails, but some men feel that this isn't as important for them. There is nothing that says more about a man than the way he shakes hands. And yet just because a firm handshake is a sign of a strong man, there is no reason for the hand in question to feel like sandpaper or stone.”

From lifemojo.com:

“Even though your face gets noticed first, your hands get the maximum exposure. They are in direct contact with harsh sun, chaffing winds and drying elements like detergents, hot water etc. As a result, the hands look years older than other parts of you.

Beautiful, well-kept and delicate hands are important. Hands tell you a number of things about yourself. Hands tell you how you lead your life and how you take care of your body and skin. It is said that the hands tell you how old a woman is. No matter how old you are; your hands tell an observer a lot about yourself as a person. With proper care, they can help make your overall appearance simply stunning”

If you also work with the public, well-kept hands transmit trust, security, commitment and stability. All values important to someone who should trust on you! : D

I Love my Nails! Introduction.

Having nice nails is something I started with when I was 14.

There´s something that people that met me after coming to live to Spain don´t know: from my 20 to my 30 I was a makeup fan. Actually I had work in an important beauty products company where I learned to make up professionally. It happened that Curro, my husband, doesn´t like the makeup, so I stopped using it… you have no idea how much I save per year due that! ;P On the other hand, I discovered the pleasure of using makeup just for special situations… I love to look completely different in parties and other occasions! :D

What I kept doing was to take care about my nails and from some years ago it also includes nail art. It was exactly trying to find where to buy Konad products that I discovered there are several webs and blogs just talking about makeup and nail art. Actually I had already experience how helpful is to find other girls that share they tricks about using but also where to buy products… so I decided to open a new section in my blog for talking about nail art! :D (Don´t worry boys, it won´t be more than a post per week I think!) ;P

So, in this new section I´ll talk about how to take care of your nails, nail art, where to buy products, I´ll share my own designs, I´ll give advice based on my own experience and time to time I´ll maybe include some makeup products or advices.

I wish you´ll enjoy this! :D
